Too sweet, too grainy

I wanted to love these so much, I love so many of the other products. But I found it way too sweet; I couldn't taste peanut butter at all. I was hoping for that nutty, sweet-and-salty flavor. I was also really disappointed with the texture. The bottom of a Nanaimo bar is supposed to be moist and chewy, but on this one it was just really grainy, very similar to the texture of the filling. Very one-note. I don't eat a lot of gluten-free food so I'm guessing that people who have celiac are used to this texture and will have no problem with it like I did.
On the plus side, I passed the ones I did not open to a friend who's vegan and has celiac so they can enjoy them for Christmas. And I'm sure they will love them.
